| Hi,Just wanted to give you some feedback on what's happened since I did my training with you in may/june 2007. I initially booked a 2 week tiling course but stayed an extra week as I was enjoying the course so much. I currently work for Barcardi in southampton and will be made redundant in feb 2008. I planned to be self employed, but as luck would have it, my wife works for a construction firm.They have an interest in Global Ceramics in Southampton. They heard I was doing my training & asked to see me. I throught they might offer me some work experience with their Tilers, but amazingly they offered me a position as their contracts manager! I won't be tiling, although I may do a bit here & there if the job is not worth giving to the regular tilers. I start 2 days after I am made redundant at my current job. I have tiled several kitchens to date & have been turning work away as I can't fit it all in round my current job. I think this will undoubtibly prove to anyone who is considering training that it is well worth doing & other options may open up before you. Thanks for the training and I look forward to my future in the ceramics world!!!! |

Dear Kenny Sorry I didn't do this testimonial sooner but i've been too busy with work. Where do I start? I was 33, stuck in a boring warehouse job which I hated, when my nephew told me he was going to do one of diamonds tiling courses. He suggested I try it too and after looking at your website and reading other peoples testimonials I decided to take the plunge. It was one of the best decisions i've ever made. The training was top class, I doubt there is anything about tiling that Kenny or Vinnie don't know and although the training had me scratching my head a few times I had such a good laugh that the learning was fun. That was over six months ago and I haven't looked back. Not only are my nephew and myself now working for ourselves tiling but my other nephew and his friend have just started training with Diamond too. Many thanks mate to you and all at Diamond training.

Kenny This testimonial is long over due but I owe you my gratitude.I came to you in November last year knowing how to stick a tile on a wall I left knowing how to tile and how very different it is!Firstly your tiling courses are very detailed your teaching is second to none. When I couldn’t quite relate to some of the things you were putting across you would explain it in another way so That I could understand and put into practice what you were teaching. You had generous amounts of time for everyone and your main concern was that everyone understood one way or another what it was you wanted them to learn.Then there are the “other bits” you sorted me out with a Van so that I could get on my way, a nationally known Web designer who was more than helpful and very fair in price, a local company who were very nice and sorted out all my company clothing, the bed and breakfast, tools and the list goes on.
Well Kenny I wish you all the best for the future you certainly deserve it.

Having attended the four week course at Arundel, I feel strongly about recommending this dynamic training facility.I have a Landscaping background and sought a trade to complement my summer landscaping. I took VR from Carlsberg UK as I felt that I could not go any further and I wanted to work for myself so I could have the freedom and control of what I do and how much I earn. So……. I invested some of my redundancy into re-training as a tiler.
As I only live in Southampton I traveled on a daily basis. If I had to sum up the training it would be WOW.
I had done some tiling before but when I look at it now I can see all my mistakes and how I could have done it better. And that’s all thanks to Kenny at Diamond.
I now have the confidence to take on jobs that I would never thought I could ever have done and that’s thanks to Kenny again…
I did the 2 week course and learnt loads and I will at some date return to learn more. The training center is fantastic and I never felt stupid when asking questions as Kenny was always on hand to help. He even arranged for a business adviser from Barclays to talk to us about business banking etc..
I can’t thank Kenny and Diamond training enough for helping me change my working life. |
