Discussions on Marble, limestone, slate and other types of natural stone, including sealing and preperation
- (Actual fixing is carried out on 6 Week course)
- Differing techniques including use of grinders and specialist tools for Cutting holes etc..
- In Depth Complex patterns
- Complex grouts and adhesives,
- How and when to use them
- Borders - raised listellos - pencil - dado etc..
- Fast Track Rendering onto substrates
- Tutor led discussion on undertile heating systems
- (Actual installation is carried out on 6 Week Course)
- Floor levelling technique
- Tutor led discussion of removal and installation of Radiators and sanitary ware and common problems
- Section discussing mosaic work including the well renowned opus regulatum (Rows & Columns) using specialist software.No Computer experience required
- Business start up
- FINAL ASSESMENT OF FULLY TILED BATHROOM INCLUDING WALLS AND FLOOR AREAS CARRIED OUT TO SPECIFIC JOB SPCIFICATIONS
